Safe as a condom
With the launch of Google’s Chrome and Microsoft’s IE8, the browser war has intensified in the recent days. Microsoft seems have weathered threats from many browsers over the years. But for the last few years, it has lost ground to an impressive rival, Firefox. Developed by the Mozilla Foundation in 2003, a non-profit community committed to enhance internet user experience, and backed by Google, Firefox is a community with thousands of followers worldwide. Unlike the other companies, which have massive marketing budgets to promote browsers, Firefox is run by a volunteer community marketing site, Spread Firefox. The people at Spread Firefox have done an incredible job in promoting the browser. Here’s an image from one of their efforts which I found while sorting my emails.
